Lakeside Academy’s mission is to provide a thorough and efficient education for elementary-level students. This is accomplished by providing them all the opportunities for academic and social growth in order to develop into productive and positive members of society prepared for the demands and requirements that will be imposed on them as they move to the middle grades and beyond.
The mission mandates a curriculum that is focused on academic success through exposure to activities that will broaden student experiences. Students are taught the value of integrity, respect and tolerance for others, discipline, responsibility, trust, good manners and citizenship. They must abide by the Student’s Code of Conduct which forms the backbone of acceptable conduct.
Lakeside Academy is governed by a Board of Directors that provides guidance, and supports programs and staff effort in order to sustain and improve academic performance. The Board is committed to providing a safe facility, a highly qualified staff, opportunities for staff development, and enriched environments - all within the bounds of fiscal responsibility.
The mission of the administration is to create a school environment designed to strengthen the unique abilities within each child while overcoming any inherent weaknesses. We strive to eliminate frustration and failure and replaced these with positive and meaningful learning experiences that lead to academic success.
